Day 1 : as usual , we headed to th airport on our own to meet th others . I was just too excited to go & i slept quite late th night before . Since its isn't my first trip wif da sch alr , i felt quite normal going out wif sch as if there were like going wif my parents . After boarding , th plane ride was around 1 hr 50 mins ? To Ho Chi Minh city ! Th place from above looks so nice & also huge !! Th view was also damn nice . This is why I love window sit . Teehee . :3 After we got off th plane , collect our luggage and everything , we head for th bus . But there's sth amazing happened when we walked out th airport . We were treated like stars , cheers by JIAEN's family , and also videoing down . It was amazing as we feel how stars feel like now . It's really one in a lifetime experience . :) While getting to th pottery place , our tour guide named Victor introduced himself & also talked about th place where we are going . We did our pottery at th place & also we went to watch th traditional Water Puppet show ! It was actually nice & boring at th same time . Boring its becus of th language , nice becus of th way th move th puppet and stuffs like that . Also we went shopping for supper ! On th first day only , i spent too much .. :( Regretted a lot but nahh , who cares ? It's my food !! Teehee .
Day 2 : First half of Day 2 is th time where most of us hate & enjoy a lot . We went to visit one of th local school , and was welcomed by them warmly . Each of us has a partner . Some of them were girls at mostly are all boys . Mine too . But my partner doesn't even talk to me most of th time . Not like th others :( Its quite sad tho .. :( After reaching , we went into their sch hall & every student was sitting on a bench each instead of th ground ! But their so called hall was open . Th rest of th school was quite hyper when we waked in . Hmmm , th experience was quite good . Once in a life time yo . * wink wink * hahaha ! xD Hmmm , after that , th local students start to perform for us . I can say their dance is okay , but if they put in more strength , th dance would be nicer . :) haha ! Don't i sound like some professional ? * wink * We were then guided to one of th rooms to show us th history of th school & what th school and th students did when one of th Vietnamese president (?) passed on . It's something that we don't do in singapore . Quite amazing eh ? Haha ! We played some simple English game & it was so damn easy for us Singaporeans ! ^^ hahaa ! So after th games , we were asked to go to our partner's class . For me , I find it quite awkward becus of th language barrier we will hav towards th class . But once i walked in , Shermin was there alr !! Felt relieved for a moment . :3 But th class asked us to introduced ourself & we had difficulties becus we hav to use simple English to communicate with them if not they won't understand what we were talking about . Next , we were asked to sing a song . Hmmm , its actually quite weird but confidence yo . Actually th both of us doesn't want to sing but since we will only visit once so yeah . Sang to th class . It's not as awkward when singing to our own classmates instead . Th class were quite enthu & they even cheered for us after we sang . Not bad not bad . Haha ! After th visiting of th class , we headed back to th hall area to meet th rest . It's also th photo taking session time ! YAY ! :D Pictures will be posted after this blog post . :B It's quite sad to leave this sch but at th same time , most of us wanted to leave th school becus th boys are like ermmm , despo i could say ? xD haha , oops ! After visiting th sch , we headed for our lunch at some high class hotel . Weeoweet *.* Th hotel was actually not bad ! Th food was nice too :3 Teehee . After our lunch , we headed down to th War Remnant Museum . Th museum like a cool only lorh !! *.* History student next year :3 Vietnam history is like a interesting only *.* Omgg ! Reading th caption for all th photos make me wanna learn more about th history ! DAMN FREAKING INTERESTING CAN !! But there's one thing i hate th most about what th Americans did . Spraying Agent Orange to kill th Vietnamese & also th natural habitats . -_- I only got 1 letter for them . K . After th museum was th visit to th Notre Dame Cathedral & th Old Post Office which is th busiest post office of th country . Amazing much !
Day 3 : This day was one of th best day ever man !! :3 Heheheh . We went to visit th CuChi Tunnels which was hand made by th Vietnamese in th oldern days when they were having war wif th Americans . Amazingly this tunnel is 250km !!! Ö It was just so amazing ! Those Vietnamese was smart too ! They even hav their slippers wore th other way round to trick th American Soldiers ! Smart move ;) Those boobie traps that were made by th Vietnamese was also simply scary and amazing !! Ö We even got to go down th tunnel and experience how th Vietnamese stay , communicate and also travel down th tunnel . Apparently , th one we went down was a modified one . Th actual tunnel was much smaller . Ö Wow .. Can literally imagine how small th Vietnamese was ! Just 100m in th tunnel , once all was out , they were complaining about it ! But last time th Vietnamese stayed underground for like 21 YEARS !!! Ö simply wow .. After th CuChi tunnel , we went for our lunch & then we headed down to th orphanage . For me , I was feeling uncomfortable at first becus th first thing that came to my mind was that , most of th kids there were affected by th Agent Orange that were used during th war becus of their grandparents who were affected during th war . Th parents of these kids maybe th offspring of those who were affected & th kids might be th offspring of their parents . ( okay , this is getting confusing :p ) At first , i thought i can overcome it but nahh . Wrong , i went back to th bus & started to burst out . Just feel sad for them .. :/ HAISSS . There are such a cutie but yet they hav to go through this when there are from 8 months to 16 years old . It's very poor thing .. :( After calming myself down , I pick up my courage and went in again ! It was totally different feeling from th first time !! Had fun playing wif th kids ! How I wish i can go back them & play wif them for a longer time . :( I really miss them a lot :( Especially Duc !! T-T
Day 4 : we went to th Mekong Delta & also had our hands on experience in th paddy field and also planting th paddy ! I though it was easy but it was actually very difficult becus of th long hours th farmers had to stay under th sun & th place them nicely . We did for 15 mins and we are already complaining .. Oh well , Singaporeans . xD oops ! But it was true tho . :b After washing up , we headed down to th place we were eating by riding a horse wagon !! WHITE HORSE SOMEMORE ! Teehee . :3 *.* But we still had to walk to th place we were eating . After lunch we headed into th village , walked around , visited th coconut candy ' factory ' . Those hand made candies were just too *.* Amazing ! Ö we then watched th Vietnamese sing . It was so called their folk show . Hmmm , it was not bad la . :b haha ! Headed back to th city which was like 2 hours away ! Ö But before tat we had to stop at a rests top becus of th bus air-con . And here comes a very bad news . Ho Chi Minh city were gonna hav typhoon . Ö We were all panicking and wondering what will happen when we reached . We can't stop our worries until Victor , our tour guide asked us not to worry . So put down that worry and just head to sleep when we were heading back . Th good news is , when we were back , it was just raining ! Thank god th typhoon subsided ! :D YAY ! Teehee . But th amazing thing is , th rain only lasted for awhile from what I saw . Not like in Singapore , it can just rain for hours and hours ._. Went for our dinner and headed back to our hotel for debrief & also lights out !! Fav time of da day ;)
Day 5 ( last day T-T ) : Th last day of th tour alr .. :( Its such a pity that these 5 days just pass so damn quickly .. :( How i wish i can rewind time .. :( Oh well , this is th day when we are allowed to wake up th latest !! OWN TIME OWN TARGET YO . * wink wink * teehee . We had our last minute at Ben Thanh market ! Another day which make me spend quite a lot . :( We headed to boarded th bus and headed to th airport . While on th bus , we had our own party ! :D it was damn fun & crazy !! Teehee . As compared to Taiwan trip , i find this more fun tho . Teehee . :b When we reached th airport , we had to bid our goodbye to our one-of-a-kind tour guide which helped us a lot during these 5 days ! ^^ Also , not forgetting , he even showed us his wedding photos !! *.* Simply amazing & he look very good !! *.* His wife too *.* im just speechless !! Ö Also can't forget !! He had his wedding just yesterday !! WOOLALA * wink wink * Best regards to him from Singapore ;)) Teehee . And then we're off to Singapore ! ^^ When we reached , we also had to bid our goodbye to Bam ! Our tour leader for this trip & also he has became my one and only dad of this trip ! He has have us many fun memories !! Even tho he's like older than us , but when we are tgt wif him , he has his childish side too !! Just too cute ! Like father like daughter eh ? * wink * HAHAHA !! * bhb * :P
Its just not long ago since i came back . And im already missing those fun times we had tgt during th trip . Those memories made were just too precious alr . I love them all !! 3rd to 7th Nov , best time ever . ♡ :*
